The biggest Chick-fil-A location in the world is now open in New York City. The new 12,000-square-foot franchise location had its grand opening on Thursday, drawing massive lines of people eager to satisfy their fast food craving and check out the behemoth, five-story restaurant.
The new Chick-fil-A, located at One World Trade Center in the Financial District, features what the Georgia-based company called 'one of a kind design elements,' including seating for 140 people, an open-air rooftop dining area, floor-to-ceiling windows, two kitchens and a semi-private group meeting and dining space.

Hmmm. I may need to investigate. I’ll go early in the afternoon.
12,000 square feet and it only seats 140 people plus a private dining area?
They’re still closed on Sunday, right?
Let me know what you think.
I think the regular chicken sandwich is the best place to start. It’s their signature item and the most direct way to experience what Chik-fil-A is all about. OTOH the nuggets are pretty classic too. I remember when they used to hand them out as samples on toothpicks in the mall back in the 1980s. Talk about brilliant marketing. It was impossible not to buy an 8 or 12 pack after eating the sample.
Revenge is sweet and so are their Chicken Tenders.
This is one way of giving the NY Left “the bird”.
#36. Nobody is going to eat at a joint called “Bloomturd’s”.
I know some liberals who boycotted Chick-fil-a saying they discriminated against gays. They later caved and started eating there again because they love it so much. :D
Chick-fil-A has a great scholarship program for their employees. Years ago my two daughters worked at a CFA in downtown Atlanta and both received a scholarship to Berry College in north GA.
I think that is the one on 37th and 6th ave. It has had a queue like that at lunchtime since the day it opened. They do move you through it very fast, but more often than not when I want to eat there I go somewhere else due to the line.
I am trying to picture where this new one is? AFAIK the only thing at 1 World Trade is the Freedom Tower. It must be located nearby if it’s only 5 stories and has rooftop access.
Chick-fil-A owns all of its locations. It does not franchise out
Amen to that! Great food, awesome service, squeaky clean. Every. Single. Time. And I've been to a bunch of them.
Should be fun.
Thanks——I’ll try the plain one first, although the grilled one also sounds delicious.
.
Then why do they call it a, "Franchise"?
The new 12,000-square-foot franchise location had its grand opening on Thursday
So the company sells franchise locations and then the company purchases their own franchises??
I suggest you perform a bit of research before you comment.
I like the salads. They’ll put whatever kind of chicken on them that you want. My favorite at the moment is the Cobb salad with spicy grilled nuggets and avocado ranch dressing. Yum! (And low carb)
Just google it. It took me 2 seconds. The company has franchises and continues to sell franchises.
