This fictional family, and the show’s very real creator, are further normalizing Trump and his warped, harmful political ideologies. There are times when we can consume problematic pop culture, but this is not one of those times. I saw the first two episodes of the “Roseanne” reboot, but that’s all I am going to watch. It’s a small line to draw, but it’s a start.

Sarah Chalke who played Becky 2.0 partway through the original series while actress Lecy Goranson, who played original (and current) Becky was off to college now plays a woman looking to hire "Becky" as a surrogate mother.

Twenty years from now, “Roseanne:The Next Generation” will still be funny, whereas the current crop of highly acclaimed programs will look like something from the Twilight Zone.
Even more surprising, Sara Gilbert was the one who pitched the idea of a reunion show and rallied everyone together.

I never watched the original, not watching this redux either. Her type of humor doesn’t appeal to me.
That’s not his policies, that’s the policies of the DemoRINO Mafia running Washington who he is going up against completely alone. The worst thing Trump is doing right now is refusing to fire Sessions who is part of the Mafia. Right now he should have a AG in office who would not hesitate for a second to arrest every last Politician supporting sanctuary cities, especially Libby Schaaf of Oakland who warned illegals of ICE. Why is she still walking around scot free? She CLEARLY CLEARLY broke the law so why isn’t she arrested? Because Sessions is a corrupt RatRINO mofo. I write to Trump almost every day on Twitter demanding he fire Sessions.
You know, I don't ever recall being particularly miserable while Obama was president. Sure, I didn't vote for the guy but he won so I just went about my life.
But the people who didn't vote for Trump are absolutely unhinged! They wake up each morning, confirm that he's still the President, and then proceed to spend the remainder of the day in an uninterrupted state of outrage. Look at some of these entertainers; Jim Carrey, Jimmy Kimmel, Steven Colbert, once funny men who now sputter and seethe an unending stream of rage that Trump is the President.
Just consider the basic premise of this article, "The new Roseanne show is funny but I won't watch it because it shows Trump voters as something other than knuckle-dragging Nazis."
I've never seen anything like it. The Left is having an absolute meltdown. It was funny at first but now I'm growing concerned.

Never, ever, watched the original show. Looked to silly-stupid. Watch the opening show of this new series. Except for Roseanne’s MAGA politics along with a revolver in the freezer. It is anything BUT conservative.
Gay daughter. Transvestite 10 year old grandson. Mixed race other grandkid. Perhaps it’s libertarian. But it’s not conservative.
Not thinking I will be watching it on a regular basis. Just not my type of show… but neither am I repulsed by it. It is what it is.
Well I figured the scene where the family all bowed their heads and Roseanne said grace alone would make heads explode!
Barely remember that. I guess because it seemed normal.
