From Wiki: ""Ue o Muite Arukō" (上を向いて歩こう, "I Look Up As I Walk") is a Japanese-language song that was performed by Japanese crooner Kyu Sakamoto, and written by lyricist Rokusuke Ei and composer Hachidai Nakamura. Ei wrote the lyrics while walking home from a Japanese student demonstration protesting against a continued US Army presence, expressing his frustration at the failed efforts.[1][2]" Thanks, I'll pass. The culture, the people, the government and it's laws, and more. They make some pretty neat stuff (Well, Japan did anyway) but so did post WWI Germany. Oh, I can rant on. And my rants started with guys my age bloviating on and on about how great asian women are. Oh my god, there are like a few million guys out there who just go on and on about how much they like asian girls. Gross.

When I was in elementary school, for some reason, we spent a large chunk of fourth grade learning about Japanese culture.

I admit, I feel a strong affinity for European culture, especially the French culture. But since I see that Europe is committing suicide, I think that I must turn elsewhere to satisfy my desire to experience other cultures. So, Asia offers a lot of variety. And I am considering South America, namely Peru with Macchu Pichu. One of these days...
