As I recall, he used to broadcast from a jazz club called the Bohemian Caverns.
Don’t recall the “Cavern” but there were many good clubs around in that time. WMAL’s programming at the time was also good. Recall coming off mid-watch and driving home to Terry Horrigan doing the “American Airlines” show. Developed a lasting fondness for Bobby Hacket’s coronet during those travels along with some great female singers...names escape me at the moment. One of my “forget what, after memory, is lost” moments.
