I have a friend, well into his 80s now, who had Top Secret etc. clearances in the whole Vietnam era (DARPA etc.).

He has told me frequently that MI knew, in the 1960s, that the USSR was going to collapse due to its communist economic system. Numerous papers were written on the subject, but of course were not made public.

So our only hope is that MI is helping the white hats, and utilizing this tech for good.

Yep, there are still a few of us "Vietnam era"...etc., etc... vets who are in our 80's -- and are still kickin'... '-)
