Sessions Unmaskd DOJ Secret Prosecutor who is working with the DOJIG, and who has full prosecutorial powers.
This is about institutional corruption and abuse of power on a massive scale, however.
Still perpetrated by a certain number of discrete individuals.
The flaw with "trust a SC but not an insider" is revealed by the question "do you trust Mueller"?
Not to defend Huber yet, or Horowitz. Restoring some measure of trust in the institution depends on the institution, and it would be pretty tough cookies to nuke all of the DOJ.
The DOJ investigating the DOJ, yeah, that works.
I don’t trust anyone in government.
They are all corrupt.
Think of the IG as the Internal Affairs section of the DOJ.
Neither do I. But that doesn't advance the question of "which is better, Huber or a yet to be named SC?"
Except for this investigation, Huber reports to Rosenstein. The conflict is obvious.
When Huber was confirmed in August, Rosenstein made a special trip to the Utah office. Here's a pic of Rosenstein in Utah showing Huber who is boss.
You know what comes next after AG Sessions piles up the indictments?
More crybaby antics. “Why are Hillary and Obama not indicted yesterday?”
The whine never end with these people who owe Sessions an apology and then go sit in the corner and eat their plate of crow in silence.
“Forget it Jake, its Gooberville.”
This IS the investigation as noted by Sessions and he was the one that appointed Huber and he just said that Huber along with other federal prosecutors go directly to him....ie...Sessions. If Rosenstein did something and theres no doubt he did then they arent going to go to him, theyll go to Sessions. Look, I know theres a healthy distrust of FBI and DOJ but most of the trouble makers were senior leadership in D.C. but are still at least some peoplerank and file in there that see stuff and arent going to let everything disappear in a black hole. All of these leaks about obama administration corruption about Trump havent only been coming from Congressional Republicans
Being that Huber is an Obama appointee, and that he was apparently recommended by Mike Lee... I’m not pleased.
But, then again, do I trust Sessions to appoint an effective SC? Nope.
There doesn’t seem to be any actual way of reigning our government or these people in.
I had my doubts about Sessions but if somebody would just think for a moment with all of these movements going on the past several months and whos who in Obama DOJ holdovers inexplicably resigned and whos who are still there but demoted (the ones flipped?) seems to point to an investigation well under way. An investigation where there is under oath stuff, and people talking and where congress cant see evidence that being used right now for prosecutorial process. Its starting to add up
I do not owe Jeff Sessions, sh!t.
He is a public servant.
Jeff Sessions owes America and Americans justice.
If he cannot or will not provide that, then he needs to resign and go f*** himself.
.
John Huber was appointed by Obama.
Toothless IG was appointed by Obama.
Sounds right.
.
And a Trump nominee, appointee.
President Donald J. Trump Announces United States Attorney Candidate Nominations - June 12, 2017
If confirmed, John W. Huber of Utah will serve as the United States Attorney for the District of Utah. Since June 2015, John W. Huber has served as the United States Attorney for the District of Utah. After serving the District of Utah for nearly two years as a Presidential appointee, Attorney General Jefferson B. Sessions appointed Mr. Huber to continue his service in March 2017. Prior to being named United States Attorney, Mr. Huber served as an Assistant United States Attorney for thirteen years. Mr. Huber began his prosecutorial career in the Weber County (Utah) Attorney's Office, and later served as the Chief Prosecutor for West Valley City, Utah, before joining the ranks of Federal prosecutors in the United States Attorney's Office in 2002. Mr. Huber graduated with honors from the University of Utah in 1989, and later received his J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 1995.
-- do I trust Sessions to appoint an effective SC? Nope. --
I knew that before making an exception to my general rule.
He knows that....he’s being deliberately obtuse.
“Still perpetrated by a certain number of discrete individuals.”
STFU. This is systemic and across the board throughout our corrupt stasi state. Take a hike goron.
Say no to oxy.
Says the tyrant. You are a pissant. Dumb shit. Worthless drek. Carry on as you wish, your fan club here at FR adores you.
