Amherst Saxophone Quartet, Lukas Foss's Saxophone Quartet, Introduction and Canon.

This will definitely NOT be for everyone. But if you enjoy modern art, it might be. And if the music doesn't work for you, try muting it and enjoying a 5 min Art History course in Early 20th Century Artists: Picasso, Goncharova, Braque, Metzinger, Gris, Malevich, Leger, Picabia, Boccioni, Gleizes, Kandinsky, Delaunay and Mondrian.

TOPICS: Arts/Photography; Music/Entertainment
KEYWORDS: art; fineart; musicvideos
I usually can't stand modern music, but for some reason this works for me.

At least you have one of the pre-Raphaelites on your list.

I hope I’ll eventually get around to more. I do enjoy them.

I actually used one of his paintings to illustrate one of Henry Livingston's poems. I'll put him on my TODO list.

Without distinction, fame, or note
Upon the tide of life I float,
A bubble almost lost to sight
As cobweb frail, as vapor light;
And yet within that bubble lies
A spark of life which never dies.

Millais is almost as good as Rossetti for “La Belle Dame sans Merci,” if you’re a Keats fan.
