And the R&R in Thailand helped to spread it, I take it?

Have a relative that was an airman in Thailand at the time. He tried to pet a mongoose, and had to get prophylactic rabies shots because it bit him.

I read that SE Asia is infamous for the overuse of antibiotics , which leads to drug resistant strains.
