You don’t have to live in Vermont. Let them know your travel plans no longer include Vermont if they do this. Their economy is heavily biased towards tourism. Hit them in their wallet.
My travel plans are easy to make. I look at my CCR reciprocity map app and only go to states that have reciprocity with Alaska.
