Magazine ban about to become law in Vermont. Tell them what you think of that.

I am calling for your help. As you probably know VT is under assault. The state house just passed a bill with a high cap mag ban among other things. It has to go back to the senate which already passed a version of the bill without the mag ban.

We need a couple senators to flip their vote now that the mag ban has been added to stop at least the mag ban portion of the bill.

Here are some of the senators that could be emailed and swayed to change their vote. Please email them and tell them that you aren't in support of the mag ban added to S.55. Vt people please add more emails that you think could flip. I looked for Dems in rural districts whose constituents wouldn't support this ban. The progressive/socialists of Chittenden county are too far gone.

Please and thank you from all of us in VT!

Let them know your travel plans no longer include Vermont if they do this.

My travel plans are easy to make. I look at my CCR reciprocity map app and only go to states that have reciprocity with Alaska.

Henry only made .44 cal Rimfire rifles afaik. If it is not a modern reproduction that’s the only thing it could be. Since there is an exception made for rimfire, it sounds like he’s OK?

Why would it be fed into a woodchipper? That would be really gay. Just sell it, or give it away, in extremis. Original examples start at around $25,000 and go up from there depending on condition of course.

As far as the big picture goes, it seems to me that since the rule of law in general seems dead or at least has a gaping sucking chest wound, equality under the law is certainly dead, I don’t believe they are going to find too many people who give a flying fvck what laws they pass at this point. It’s all kabuki theater. The leftists want to force the issue and declare half the country criminals. They want you DEAD, this isn’t really about guns. Leftists don’t hate guns. They hate YOU.

No. He is not ok. The exception was for 22 caliber rimfire, not just “rimfire”.

My understanding is that they added an amendment that exempts C&R and antiques so the Henry is ok under the amended bill. Any non c&r that can hold over 10, regardless of the magazine type, is banned. This will include any extended tube competition style shotguns, most full sized 9mm handgun mags, and several modern lever action rifles most of them Henrys (the long barreled ones chambered in revolver calibers hold more than 10).

As to the tube mag guns, my read is that plugging the mag won’t make it legal. The language bans magazines that can hold or be readily restored to hold more than 10.

It ends 3 gun competition as a sport in Vermont.

Just go up to Burlington, VT and see how it is over run with trust fund liberals and those fleeing neighborhood states with high taxes.

Vermont is full of New Yorkers.

After 9/11 many New Yorkers moved up into Vermont. Brought their vile political beliefs with them.

They were moving there long before 9-11.I worked for NYNEX and retired in 1994——we had them moving from NY to VT for some time before I retired.
