Yes, his friends had to protect him on the way to the air port with machine guns. The company was demanding all their employees to hand over their pass ports and that they would be given back to them once they were at the air port.

My brother being a Nam Vet. (flew planes...off the subject..LOL) didn't fall for the sham. He figured they were going to give others their pass ports. Once in New York they were told they weren't needed in the US. He and the others did get a BIG settlement thankfully.
