I would liked to have had more time to respond and reply but I’m going to be signing out again soon. Anyway, “Do you remember that President Reagan was forced to take Bush 1 as his running mate?” Perot had nothing to do with that. “Do you remember that Bush 1 was ex-director of CIA?” Perot had nothing to do with that. “Do you ‘know’ whether or not elections were rigged back then?” Perot wasn’t the only political intrigue going on at the time. As Iv’e said at other times, “I could not bring myself to vote for Bush 1 because of his connection to the CIA.
My suspicions of that day and time have only been reinforced. Even if Perot had won that election, (Who can really say he didn’t, as I have read elsewhere, its the one who gets to count the votes that wins.) We could still be in the same place today regardless of who was elected.
Some cynicism? Yes. Is man in control? No.
The alternative to Perot was GHWBush. Looking back, knowing what I now know, which is the lesser of 2 evils, Clinton or GHWB?
