Spectacular day up here today. We've had it all. Dark brooding clouds, rain cloudbursts, blizzard, graupel, sunshine, blue skies, downbursts, calm, high winds. Just a normal day!
Oh wow! I'll bet you get some really bad stuff. We had thunder snow last night. Not too uncommon in a snowstorm. Had to look graupel up. We've probably had it but can't remember an instance of it. My digital photographs provide a diary of sorts starting in 2003. Can't get much in heavy snowfall.
I got so I was really scared to drive on the highways in snow and freezing rain. Never been to Iddaho, woulda been nice.
The prediction was not as much as we seem to be ending up with at 10:00 CDT tonight, like about 3 more inches and was to be worse north of I80.
