Seems like it would be easy to defend against. Just wire mesh. Like is on the inside of your microwave oven
Not as easy to do as it sounds. The wiring to the motors will let the signals right in. And that shielding adds weight.

Drones have o have inputs for sensors and communication. Those are places that can be accessed by microwaves.
Shielding will become much easier when the drones are completely autonomous.
