I posted my opinion over on the Bill thread....

“Like many of you, I hate this bill. It goes against every principle of disciplined good government.

Using a term from West point’s Cadet prayer, Trump decided to “choose the harder right, than the easier wrong. I think he did the best he could given the trap the dems and never-trumpets set for him.

Our military is critical to our defense, and his highest priority. Let’s not blame him for this horrible bill that landed on his desk. These idiots in congress were holding our nation’s soldiers, sailors, Maries, etc, hostage just to score political points against Trump.

Don’t get mad at Trump, get mad at the perpetrators in Congress.”

I agree. The move if for defense ..it was a great one!

Agree and those Republican who voted against the bill are already using that vote to up the support of their base
