...A total fail for Trump and his admin to agree to.

Agree unfortunate bill, but it seems that funding the military right now was higher priority. Since this is only a 6 month budget, this takes care of that high priority. I would see it as more of a fail if they caved on DACA without the wall. JMHO.

Curious what Rosenstein has in store for the 10:00 cyber-security announcement. The left is convinced it will be related to the Daily Beast story, "'Lone DNC Hacker' Guccifer 2.0 ...Was a Russian Intelligence Officer"

Guccifer 2.0, the "lone hacker" who took credit for providing WikiLeaks with stolen emails from the Democratic National Committee, was in fact an officer of RussiaaEUR(TM)s military intelligence directorate (GRU) ...

The Daily Beast has learned that the special counsel in that investigation, Robert Mueller, has taken over the probe into Guccifer and brought the FBI agents who worked to track the persona onto his team. ...

... the attribution of Guccifer 2.0 as an officer of Russia's largest foreign intelligence agency would cross the Kremlin threshold - and move the investigation closer to Trump himself.

A few weeks ago the left shifted from "collusion" to "DNC hacking," and if their hopeful predictions about the announcement this morning are accurate, the "hacking" narrative will be fully launched.

I think the announcement is completely unrelated to the DNC hacking, and is more likely the roll-up of some cyber-scamming outfit. His sidekick is the Treasury Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence.

I disagree—massive waste and corruption in military spending and loads of troops who should have been brought home by now. There is no way that our current level of military funding —something like the next 20-largest-spending countries combined?—wasn’t sufficient.
