I’m right again. My batting average on these videos is 100%. Ok kids, you know the demographic of the effing thieves..;)
Responses such as yours above can come off as gratuitously antagonistic. I've personally seen a piece of lowlife White trash do this very same thing—and when I did, I promptly reported them to the restaurant management. So I'm afraid that your "100%" comment doesn't reflect accurate reality.
Having said that, I have little doubt that there is a significantly higher rate of this sort of crime that occurs within ghetto culture. After all, the number of Black children raised in single-parent homes—eventually leading to consequences like the story cited above—is astronomical.
The higher likelihood of seeing a Black person engaging in such behavior obviously has a strong tendency to reinforce negative stereotypes. Furthermore, consider how embarrassing such behavior is to the overwhelming number of decent Black people!
To continuously fixate on the fact that it was "Obama's children" is not particularly constructive, IMHO. Why? Because a Black person visiting FR—and reading some of these responses in aggregate—could easily become alienated from joining the community. How? By having their own negative stereotypes reinforced!
Unfortunately, these stories seem to provide an opportunity to conveniently engage in the "two minutes of hate" which George Orwell incorporated into his novel 1984.
I'm not trying to be PC—I'm simply suggesting that one of our goals here at FR should be to educate, and thereby to attract more minorities into the ranks of Patriotism and Liberty-minded conservatism. After all, the demographic trends will ultimately crush us if we ignore them.
In order to achieve the goal of greater unity brought on by greater numbers, therefore, I maintain that engaging in gratuitous racial antagonism can ultimately undermine the stated goal for which Free Republic exists.
Please keep in mind that I'm not targeting your post specifically, but rather expressing my thoughtful opinion on the potential negative impact of such "harsh" responses in aggregate.
