I think the whole thing was staged. Watch the video, you realize it is not surveillance footage. Someone is holding the camera. At one point they pan in and the camera is constantly moving. Why would someone just happen to be filming at that point before the couple left?

May have been a restaurant employee who has experienced this “customer” before and this time, wanted to have proof of what was happening.

Nope. Someone used his/her phone camera to record the video being played on the security monitors. You can clearly see the monitor screen.

In fact, if you look at the brand name of the monitor the person is recording from with a phone, you can see the monitor’s brand name - Lorex.
