“I just don’t understand when people try to make the conversation, the argument that the fix is more guns. It is so outrageous to me.”

Because the most effective way to stop a gunman is with a gun. Clearly did not understand the Sean Connery to Kevin Costner lesson in The Untouchables. You don't bring flowers to a gunfight.

As long as the security gunman uses the gun. The Florida shooting was a horrible example of good guy with gun.

If your starting point lacks an understanding of WHY we have the 2A then you’ll get everything else wrong.

A million people die at the hands of their own government every year on average, per the last hundred years. In a country that recognizes a persons right to own a firearm, restricting ownership or where you can have one ONLY applies to law abiding people, not criminals.

They’re naive. They “wish” they could just make guns go away. So the answer MUST be to get rid of them, it just does not compute to them that it is against the Constitution and, therefore, the ONLY solution is to have good people around that can defend victims from criminals.

They don’t seem to realize that only way they can approach what they want is to get the Constitution changed.

Gun crime is set to explode in Europe. This discussion is about to get a lot more interesting.
