It’s a little unclear from what I’ve seen. He does not lose his pension (but might be delayed) unless convicted of a felony, but might lose medical if Senior Executive Service treats them the same way as General Services.
His wife is a pretty highly paid MD with Inova Medical. Health insurance wouldn’t be a biggie.
The previous FBI DD, Mark Giuliano, is Chief Security Officer of Invesco, a company that manages hundreds of billion (yes, Billions!) worth of assets. McCabe’s prospects are good.
Didn’t I read somewhere about McCabe’s net worth being $11M already?
...McCabes prospects are good.
I don’t buy the pension plea by McCabe, but for any other reason than begging for a signal from his IG and Office of Perfect People, to name his poison and reveal it.
He wanted to know what was coming, in the way of an indictment. He got the read. That is why he had that lengthy prepared statement ready to go, too immediately after his firing. He knew.
And, he knows he will be indicted, unless the dark forces can regain their footing. (Fool.) He chose to dig in and double down, using the media arguments in his temper tantrum tome, against meanie Trump and wicked vengeance and political plotting against him. Boo Hoo.
Why would McCabe dig in, if he thought all was finally lost? He seems to think “they” can take down Trump. Eric Holder is flogging for a civil war.
Too bad. Well, the sooner he’s convicted of a felony the better; for many reasons.
