Whatever the kid was, he didnt deserve being bullied like that. Sure kids will be kids but it sounds like the school gave the typical boilerplate anti-bullying response but did nothing.
You know what? That's not the issue, the issue is that the Parent's let this kid down if he didn't understand he was a male and that gay sex and attraction are wrong.
More than likely, given the complete and utter selfishness at the root of homosexuality, his parents probably spoiled him to death, didn't give him the proper parenting, and didn't teach him to be self-reliant or self-responsible.
I could care less about the bullying, the boy had choice. He did not choose wisely.
And don't bother trying to convince me he was responsible at his age for his choices. He was.

If his parents told a 12 year old he was “likely” bisexual, then I hear ya. But I tend to think it most likely developed from indoctrination at school followed by their usual do-nothing boilerplate “we don’t tolerate bullying” jargon.
