think they are the President's equal

We the People are the President's BOSS. He's a servant. He works for US. Being his "equal" would be a step down.

Sure, but they're not his equal in terms of knowing the facts of life. Not the "birds and the bees", but the facts of life as a 71 year-old American multi-billionaire businessman and patriarch who is now the President of the United States. No High School "stoo-dent", college-aged snowflake or "Soccer Mom" out there can hold a candle to that. It is he and his accomplishments that they should aspire to. They seem to not understand the facts of their own lives and that they have many more dues to pay in society than they've been led to believe.
