Discussions tend to go in all sorts of unpredictable directions, and if any "awakening" is going to be durable, it has to be organic, each person having following his or her own heart and mind.

I've often had little more to say than I think Trump is not a dummy, and I think his heart is in the right place - and the press is full of crap, ignore the press. I don't think there needs to be. The strength of the left is also its weakness. It is monolithic. If enough people attack it from all sorts of directions, it'll crumble.

What we see is a facade - the paint over the monolithic group-think of a minority of the public. They happen to have the megaphone, that's all. They have been outnumbered all along. The problem with our side is that we fall for the illusion.
