Not so quick - Sessions has (at least) 27 leak investigations, this apparently being one. Clapper is on record now saying how terrible this behavior was! And the investigation reportedly revealed it was him! The other charges, while apparent to “us”, would require evidence that is not readily available and difficult / precarious to disclose - the leak, on the other hand, appears pretty well cut & comes with his own statements about its severity.
wow! he is totally screwed if this is brought to a half decent jury.
That would be good...the perjury from 2013 expired this week, so they can’t get him on that, but maybe the other ones will get him!
The double standard is appalling.
The FBI forced General Flynn to plead guilty because his phone record didn’t agree with his personal recollection, he is going broke and has to sell his house, and the Rat Bastard Clapper said aloud, under oath, in front of a committee, on film for all to see, a deliberate, self-serving and MALICIOUS outright LIE, and not even a “how do you do”.
It is stuff like this that makes me think our Republic is lost. But I am not there yet...yet.
