At least with newspapers, you can’t edit articles instantly. Today, a phone call, and information can be disappeared on the net. Apparently, they’re worried this info will get out, otherwise no reason to be so tight-lipped. Reminds me of the muslim rape epidemic in the UK they don’t talk about for fear of being called racists. Same here in the US.
