The link I provided is open to anybody to read, no need to be "a twitter user," which I assume you mean to be "has a twitter @handle."
I have made a practice of linking to discrete twitter posts in order to make the link durable over time. The "top level @realDonaldTrump" link has only the newest posts.
Since my linking practice is objectionable to somebody here, I'll just skip the effort going forward. Nobody will miss anything, I see the tweets posted by others.
My life gets easier by the minute!
Don’t let one bad apple....
;-)
Cbolt, I did not say *your* practices were *objectionable*.
Let’s see if I can parse this:
I have noticed that Twitter and YT links will show tweets/videos suggestions on the right-hand side that indicate something or other about the original poster or the account linked.
Obviously, in the case of the Twitter link, I was mistaken.
I have no idea what *top tier* indicates in terms of Twitter.
I linked to the @realDonaldTrump account on Inauguration Day.
I have noticed, since then, that links vary as to what else is visible.
The only reason I commented and posted the alternative link was the assumption that others might find, as do I, the mean tweets objectionable.
Nothing personal.
No need to not post. I can certainly simply use the link I prefer.
Again: no need to accommodate anything or anyone. Options are just available choices.
My apologies if whatever I did was in any way inappropriate. I purposely limit my social media exposure due to time, interest and a desire to curate my own input as a personal preference.
YMMV
