This is extremely strange. She could have just looked after the kids and no one would have been the wiser about licensing, credential issues, etc. But she had to screw her customers over.
Parents were incurious, obedient and never caught on, from what I read. It was boyfriend and former roommate who were on to her and tracked her movements and reported her. But, I do get your point. Those poor darling kids.
