they probably didn’t get things scheduled ahead of time for that. They need to be consistent as to when they are on live across the nation, otherwise they will lose viewers that can’t count on them to be on when they are used to them being on.

The best idea Idol's had in years is this live in every time zone show, with results at the end. I hope they bring that back next season.
