Woman's Day is a BIG celebration in Russia. We're having a 4-day weekend. It's a day of flowers, chocolate and Champagne. The weather is nice where I'm living, so families are out having barbeque's in the park. My wife is off with her girlfriends having a good time and getting drunk.

It is definitely not a Feminist celebration!!

By the way, we have a "Men's Day" too. It's February 23rd. It is officially "Defenders of the Fatherland Day." (Red Army Day). But in recent years it's been referred to as Men's Day. It sis also a holiday - we had a 3 day weekend.
