I was hoping Darkest Hour would be named best picture. Although it takes too much dramatic license with the actual historical events and contains some anachronisms, it is a great story with no sex scenes, nude scenes or profanity. And it even features a cat.

I liked "Darkest Hour", and even though the Tube scene was completely contrived and offended my historic sensibilities, I ended up liking the scene better when I mentally accepted it as fiction.

He did a great job as Churchill. Of course, I saw this, and nearly spit my drink: Winston does James Brown!
