I refuse to be dragged into political arguments at work. The tone of voice from libs raises, they become accusatory and insulting, and it is an entirely unprofessional attitude.

It breeds hostility in the workplace. Had a co-worker who would try needling a response (reading headlines out loud from MSN, HuffPoo, etc.) and would try to find another person anywhere to crosstalk their talking points as an echo chamber.

None of it does a bit to getting the task at hand done.

And an employer who refuses an application because of who you voted for is engaging in a discriminatory behavior, whether that discrimination is actionable or not.

IF I am hiring for any position in my company, WHO you vote for is a large part of your overall character. I WILL be using that info in my hiring decision. I also will be using it when I have to downsize.
