I’ve noticed in most shows with a continuous plot that they always make the most disastrous decisions possible.

Negan came out and was standing on the landing dock Rick had a clear shot. Did he take it? No. He starts yakking at him instead.

I was yelling at the TV, "Shoot, Elizabeth, Shoot!"(a reference to "Swamp People character)

I understand it's a show and writers put this in for 'dramatic effect" but dammit, characters should have some sense of reality to make them more believable. They(the writers)have stretched reality with zombies(ghouls really), is it too much to have the main characters behave in a rational manner? After all the stupid and inept people should have been turned into zombie chow by now!
