Maybe Q is saying the Democrats have been experiencing a dead cat bounce, with their “momentum”. That or the stock market. Doubt he would be talking about the stock market here though even though he uses a market term here. So I believe he is talking about the Democrats and their wins in Virginia and Alabama, control of the narrative and push for gun control.
I took it as control of the narrative in general, but your thought that maybe control of / recent preoccupation with the gun control narrative works too.
The template seems to be to stage a massive press and phone grassroots reaction in advance of an event. I noticed "this time it's different" as a theme, with the difference being the use of children as the face of the resistance.
In that context, "dead cat bounce" would be the anti-gun traction the MSM has enjoyed the past few weeks.
And maybe about the deep state in general, that they’re losing in the grand scheme with little meaningless short term gains here and there.
