Jocko, do you have sources for this? The official narrative I’ve seen is suburban Chicago, father had a silkscreen fabric printing business, they were Methodist back when that meant Christian and Republicans.

etc. IIRC, it was an almost incidental point in an article I've read in the last month. IIRC, dad was quite entrenched in the Chicago mob sorts of stuff. I remember thinking--well that sure fits. It could explain some of her entitlement and assumptions about getting away with whatever she wanted to do.
