My opinion ... Tempest in a teapot. I’m assuming it was lawfully subpoenaed for analysis. Makes sense to copy the drive sector by sector and keep one, send the other one back. I would have sent the original back and kept the copy.
No big deal right?
Good logic unless you were a bureaucrap, they ghosted the drive and added spyware and kept the original drive. Remember this was under Obozo.
No big deal?
Well, there’s mirroring, and mirroring..plus. I’d wonder what else was on the new drive, myself. But then again, if the old drive was returned, I don’t think I’d trust that either. Not after waking up in the middle of the night to find my computer awake and downloading force-fed classified files, which is what she claims happened to her, probably as a set-up for future charges.
I dont know. Sounds pretty fishy.
Does the IG have subpoena power?
Why subpoena a reporters computer? She was working for CBS at the time, correct?
Wouldnt Sharryl have been served with this subpoena?
She may have volunteered her computer to the IG to get to the bottom of the government intrusion.
Maybe a DOJ black hat got at it and changed the drives?
It would be good to know about a subpoena. If you have knowledge that her computer was subpoenaed, please provide a link.
Thanks!
What kind of troll are you?
Why in the world would you think that there was a proper warrant? Everything we have learned recently would suggest other wise
