It has been four years since Disneys Frozen took over the universe, and yet to this day, many fans are still pleading for Disney to add some much-needed LGBTQ representation to their films with Frozen 2.
Speculation has been swirling around the Internet since the films initial release that Elsa, the films protagonist, is a queer character. This theory left many fans calling for Disney to give Elsa a female love interest in the films sequel, which is expected to hit theaters in November 2019. Idina Menzel previously said that she was excited by the online discussion, but offered no other details.
In an interview with the Huffington Post, Jennifer Lee, the films co-director and writer, said that she hears the fans and she is actively thinking about the proposition of a queer Elsa. Where were going with it, we have tons of conversations about it, and were really conscientious about these things, she said.
But she added that there is no guarantee that Elsa will get a girlfriend in the next movie. I always write from character-out, and where Elsa is and what Elsas doing in her life, shes telling me every day. Well see where we go, she said.

Only someone evil would put homosexual propaganda in a children’s movie.
They would lose their support if they did that. To them homosexuality is two people of the same sex holding hands and walking into the sunset.
Or -- worse yet -- having her marry Dax Shepard, like the other actress.
