223 is not legal to hunt deer here but it is a cost efficient to keep up proficiency in shooting. I suppose they will go after bigger guns as they chip away at our rights.
If you read the legislation the Rats proposed yesterday in the House it pretty much covers all firearms except revolvers and bolt action rifles.
I guarentee you, if they ever got that pushed thru revolvers would be next because in the eyes of a Gun Grabbing commie there is no difference between a semi- auto and a revolver...one shot for every squeeze of the trigger.
