And Bormann was executor of Hitler's will. I just looked it up on Wikipedia [last will and testament of Adolf Hitler] Apparently 3 different couriers had copies when they left the bunker. I was thinking Bormann was the only one carrying those papers...I guess not.

The will was deemed to be the original because it was on microfilm. It was/is an interesting series using modern tracking methods based upon tracking peripheral characters that were known Hitler associates. I’ve always wondered how someone like him that was so vainglorius would give up and commit suicide before being captured by the Soviets. It is far more likely that his death was staged and he escaped to South America where contingency plans facilitated his escape and re-establishment. The show used modern computer searches of recently declassified CIA/FBI files to provide clues and was well done. But,as with all of these shows, little real evidence was confirmed that he actually did live out his days in Paraguay.
