Thank you for saying that. I have a herniated lumbar disk and stenosis. I am on a low dose pain med, not opioids, and the med I am taking makes my day bearable. I was commiserating with a friend and said ‘I don’t think these are working, but I don’t want to go on anything stronger’. She told me that they were probably working, just not getting rid of all the pain. I think she’s right, as my days used to be pretty awful and now sometimes I even feel normal. But it’s a day to day thing.
