Unpacking a few boxes at the moment. :-) Majority of the kitchen items still boxed till after the complete remodeling.
Thus far, found only one broken item. A portion of the beak of our blown glass hummingbird hanging is no longer. Now the poor little thing has no beak with which to feed. BUT the little fellow is still hanging around. FOUND: one item which had been forgotten. When visiting England with a friend years ago, Lady Di/Prince Charles year of marriage. Purchased a commemorative thimble as a souvenir. Back it goes into the curio cabinet!

I love opening a box I haven’t seen in years and finding presents! Unfortunately most of them are going to have to go to a thrift shop, because I moved to 3000 square foot house into a 1600 square foot house. I don’t know why I moved all that stuff here, should have saved the expense and trouble. But it was hard to decide when packing.
