The son of the billionaire Little Caesars founder and owner of both the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Tigers, has been found dead surrounded by drugs in a hotel room.
Ronald Ilitch, 61, was found dead on the floor of his Marriott Hotel room in Troy, Michigan, on Friday afternoon, MLive.com reports.
A female acquaintance had called 911 at about 2.12pm to report that Ilitch wasn't breathing, and when emergency crews arrived, they found him face-up on the floor.
A police report states that resuscitation efforts would have been futile.

Ron Illitch was one of seven children. It looks like he’s been using drugs for quite a while. He was arrested in 2014 for possession of crack cocaine.
Folks out in the hustings actually like their pizza soft and doughy. They like their bagels the same way.
Many a New Yorker has ventured west to elucidate the masses about the proper texture of pizza and bagels, and they have all failed.
I was born and raised in Joisey. The ONLY advantages we have are that we don’t have to pump our own gas and pizza. I was in Bowling Green Kentucky once and saw “NY pizza” My heart ached for home and I ordered a whole pizza pie. They might as well have dumped a jar of Ragu on a lof of Wonder Bread.
In terms of convenience and caliries per dollar, they are hard to beat.... especially given how expensive a Big Mac has become
One cannot go to a fast food anymore without spending less than $10 on garabge and still be hungry
My family is Macedonian, and I met Mike Ilitch and his wife at a Macedonian convention in Dearborn a few years back. He single handedly did so much for the Detroit area, even though Detroit in general is a lost cause. So sad his son ended up like this. I read that he was arrested a few years ago for a DUI too. People’s lives fall apart. Nobody’s perfect. May God have mercy on his soul!
Clearly we need to ban drugs.
All people are truly equal before drug
I’ve had New York-style pizza (in New York) and did not care for it. I cared even less for the jackasses who insisted on telling me that I had to ‘fold’ it to eat it.
If I had that kind of money, I would have a farm so big I could not see the end of it standing on the roof of my house. I would have beautiful horses and cows and goats. I would work as much as I wanted to, and hire people to do the rest.
“Im still just a grunt working for people who are rich but not that rich. And Im not rich at all”
Guess who stated “you cant get rich working for someone else”.
It’s from a 10 RULES HOW TO GET RICH page by this dude, and I cut off and pasted on my dresser back in in high school from MAXIM Magazine. It was right after the Apprentice.
You know who it is...
Yes. Like Heather Locklear and her drug problems— arrested again yesterday- felony battery on boyfriend and battering 3 deputies(Ventura County, CA).
I cant believe this thread has yet to make the obvious PizzaGate connection.

Heading down 81 through West Virginia and Virginia, I see signs for Kings New York Pizza. I’ve been fooled to many times to stop.
Ditto.
I have respect for him is why I said he should be in Dad’s business and keeping it going! Yes those pizza’s are crappy but when you are hungry the hit the spot and at a good price I might add.
Just don’t get this drug thing. He should be working at his dad’s business seeing what he could do to open more stores. America needs more crappy pizza pizza
[Ive had New York-style pizza (in New York) and did not care for it. I cared even less for the jackasses who insisted on telling me that I had to fold it to eat it]
For the love of all things holy... please don’t tell me you ate it with a fork and knife....
pizza pizza
It really was not that crappy at first, at least at the local shop near us. A few years later the quality did decline a little, and after about six years it closed.
“But I work in his factory
And I curse the life I’m living
And I curse my poverty
And I wish that I could be,
Oh, I wish that I could be,
Oh, I wish that I could be
