How about banning elective sex change surgeries for minors with unambiguous reproductive organs?

“Under the proposed law, the circumcision of boys — removing the foreskin of the penis, usually when the child is a newborn — would be viewed as equal to female genital mutilation and punishable by up to six years in prison.”

Considering that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is done when families send their 13 year daughters back to the ‘old country’ to visit relatives and get ‘nicked’ as Leftists now call FGB, it’s hard to see how anything would be done here, at least to Muslim who continue the practice.

Painful? I couldn’t walk for nearly a year afterward.

Male circumcision is neither medically required, nor medically harmful when done by trained persons and under clean conditions. Millions and millions of circumcised males can attest to that.

While some religious orders who believe in male circumcision object to secular banning it, the legal argument should not be about “religious freedom”. It is about the personal freedom - regardless of religion - of parents to choose a medical procedure that, while it is an elective procedure, is not harmful to the child.

The legal issue is that the law should not enter into the parents decision to have the circumcision done. They should not need to demand it as a religious right. It’s a personal right, and while some may claim it is “unnecessary”, it is also true that it is not harmful. What ought the law have to do with it? Nothing.

Sounds like a backdoor way to enact a “Muslim Ban” if you ask me.
