It would be great to see a blacksmith
but then the loud pinging....

There is an older lady across from my sister
that does make horseshoes and goes around shoeing (sp)
horses.

Strange I never hear the pinging.

I’ll have to ask about that.

Hilltop showed a working blacksmith shop(making spears, IIRC)

It was in the enclosure and away from walkers grasp. One assumes any walkers attracted to the sound were dispatched like the ones at the prison

The lady actually made horse shoes or made adjustments?

And a farrier putting shoes on a horse isn't very loud as the hoof absorbs much of the noise. Working the horseshoes on an anvil could be noisy, depending how much work is needed.
