Romanticism. This country doesn’t have the spine to execute murderers in a reasonable amount of time. Tribunals are not going to happen.

I like the idea of President Trump declaring martial law for the District of Columbia, followed my military tribunals for the coup plotters instead of civilian court trials. I’m not sure we can build enough gallows but there are plenty of streetlights that could be “decorated” with former traitors.
