She is obviously sufficiently ignorant of US history to believe we are a “Democracy.”
Our founders went to great length to forbid “democracy,” the least just form of governance.

Unfortunately a lot of people are that way. I get sick of correcting them. Even when I do I doubt if they really understand the difference.
