Kindergarten was 1958; Lakewood Elementary, Lakewood California. It was a 'temporary' school: all classrooms, offices and bathrooms were 'bungalows'.

The only permanent structure was the 'cafetorium'. That building still exists, but the rest of the school is now a park. The bungalows were taken out sometime in the '70's if memory serves.

Lived in Bixby Knolls 15 years. There is a book about the sociology of Lakewood as a created post war boom community. I used to own it. Ever read it? Interesting.
