God, accept her soul.
Spike was my first musical inspiration! My Dad was so upset that I wasn’t into Harry James! Frank Zappa and I had a nice conversation about Spike and his tv show.
Classic beauty!
She will be missed
May the angels sing her home
RIP
TV in the 50’s was awesome. So glad I was born when I was so I could experience all these incredible TV shows, and performers. I’ve got a 3-CD collection of Spike’s music. I need to dig it out as I haven’t listened to it in long while.
” Ive got a 3-CD collection of Spikes music.”
I don’t have any of his music, but he formed my approach!
I remember her well. Did she not have a hearing problem, that I think was later resolved?
I find myself watching older shows more and more. Lately I have been watching the GRIT channel and I just love the old westerns, Laramie is the show I watch now and it really has held up and a a good western drama. Really like John Smith and Robert Fuller. Almost all the old cowboy actors are gone now.
No, Shelley Fabares.
No, Shelley Fabares.
RIP.
That wonderful pantomime was the first thing I thought of. I was lucky enough to have seen it’s first broadcast as a child. Cid Caesar’s show was one of my parents favorites.
CD’s ? I’ve got the 78’s and the Victrola crank in hand.
Dur Fuehrer’s Face is one of my favorites.

I’m addicted to Gunsmoke now. Other than that it’s the old movies on Turner. Anything else on TV is from another planet. Even Fox News is boring.
#3 When music was music and Hollywood had talent.
Then came Heather Locklear
they all seemed to marry rock stars.
