That is never going to happen. IMO, best approach is to be smart in choosing whether and how to interact with opponents.
My post was a direct reply to the idea that it is our responsibility to ignore, rather than the trolls responsibility to stay away from threads they don’t like.
Btw, I do not see trolls as “opponents” they are irritants at best.
They are opponents of keeping the thread "clean," but I'd let them buy me dinner.

Everybody is responsible. Playing games with shifting it around is just more noise. Lots of noise of FR. This is a pretty stupid place, IMO. But I do love it. Big hearts for the most part, leans the political way I do, so I chip in (mostly remarks) from time to time. Would be much easier to just lurk.
1. have sufficient IQ;
2. be sufficiently informed;
3. be sufficiently discerning;
4. apprehend nuance and detailed tiny puzzle pieces sufficiently
to be fitting oponents.
