I was thinking more of how it could benefit POTUS against the very fake news media. For example when they were all calling him crazy.

In the States, the publisher’s statement is essentially presumed true, because the plaintiff has the burden to prove it false. In a libel lawsuit in Britain, the statement is presumed false, and the burden is on the publisher to prove each material fact is substantially true.
So we’ll see I guess.
This is what’s interesting about Trump’s attorney’s lawsuit. Trump’s position as POTUS provides them shield but they have no such protection against Cohen & his name was mistakenly included in Steel “dossier”, etc., most likely because somebody said (spoke) the name “Cohn” and it was misinterpreted (possibly over a ham radio ... Ohr cough cough) - Cohen’s lawsuit is a potential goldmine of discovery!
