I believe the “monitor” that observed Cruz said the firing started about a minute after he made the observation. He didn’t say anything about kevlar or armour. He gave a description that matched the arrest one hour later. So how and when did this guy change clothing? where did he leave the kevlar and weapons? No mention in arrest report except “one gun found at scene”.
Agreed, I see a big disconnect between the reports of what he was seen wearing (and what was reported to be found at the scene), with this teacher’s description of the shooter she encountered from about 20 feet down the hallway.
